Cordoba and Orizaba

Back the time ago, perhaps in January, I went with my first host family to visit an Aunt in Cordoba. There is not really anything to say about it, but here are some pictures:

The woman who made the picadas we had for breakfast, outside the market.

A great pile of chile peppers inside the market.

Aforementioned Aunt and her skittish dog.

After spending the morning in chilly Cordoba, we went to the house of some Cousins, with whom we went to Orizaba to see this valley and a hydroelectric plant and such there. There are 500 steps, which we went down and up, essentially (though not in such a direct route). This is a mural we found at the top of those steps.

Brambly tree.

It began to drizzle just as we were arriving there, and by the time we were leaving, everything was coated with this fine dew.

A butterfly.

Bedewed flower.

Ants.
